Pricing

Single Room: $4,850 per person
Double Room: $4,400 per person

A $1,000 donation to Gem Legacy since March 1, 2023 is required per person or per couple traveling together. If you are a member of the jewelry industry and your company donates or has donated since March 1, 2023, all employees of that company may travel under that one donation.

Flight Details - AUGUST 2024

ARRIVAL: Qatar QR708 departing from Doha (DOH), arriving Nairobi (NBO) 11:35pm on August 3.

You may choose to fly on a different airline arriving this day any time before 12 midnight.

DEPARTURE: Qatar flight QR1476, departing from Kilimanjaro (JRO) at 5:55pm on August 13.

You may choose to fly on a different airline departing this day any time after 5:30pm or on the following day, however transportation to the airport will be an additional fee of approximately $50.

Pricing Details

Includes: hotels, transportation to and from airport with group flight, entry to all mines, meals

A deposit of $800 per person will be required upon registration. Full amount of trip will be required 12 weeks prior to travel.

Not including: airfare, alcohol, gifts, visas, immunizations, tips

Travel visas for Tanzania and Kenya are to be completed by the traveler, however instructional emails will be sent to guide completion.

Checklists and informational emails will be provided in the months leading up to the trip to help with packing and preparation for the trip.

Travelers will be encouraged to pack snacks for lunch on 4 days because there are not dining options in the bush. This will be outlined in the instruction emails.
